The Braj 84 Kos Yatra, also called the Braj Chaurasi Kos Parikrama, is the circumambulation of Braj Bhoomi, the land where Radha and Krishna spent their lives. A kos is traditionally about 3 km, so the circuit stretches over a few hundred kilometres through the Mathura region and nearby parts of Haryana and Rajasthan, covering forests, kunds, ghats and temples.
Pilgrims once walked the entire route over many days. Today many families and groups complete it by vehicle, or walk some stretches and ride the rest. Shri Radha Tour & Travels plans the route, the number of days and the vehicle with you, and the same experienced driver stays with your group for the full yatra.

Tell us your group size, how many days you have, where you are staying and how much walking your elders can manage. We then suggest a day-wise itinerary, the right vehicle (an SUV for families, a Tempo Traveller for groups, a bus for very large parties) and a clear rate. The plan can be changed at any point of the yatra if the group wants to stay longer at a place.
Winter, from October to March, is the most comfortable time for the yatra. Summer afternoons are very hot, so we plan visits for the early morning and evening. Around Janmashtami, Holi and other festivals the Braj region is extremely crowded and roads are diverted, so please book well in advance.

Traditionally it is done on foot over many days. Today many pilgrims travel by vehicle, or combine walking with a vehicle that follows. We support vehicle-based yatras and part-walking plans.
An SUV works well for a family of 6 to 7. A Tempo Traveller suits larger families and pilgrim groups. For very large parties we can arrange a bus.
Yes. One vehicle and driver stay with your group for the full trip. The rate depends on the number of days and the distance, and is shared before you confirm.
